PLD targetsPLD targetsNORECS offers ceramic targets for Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) and other purposes requiring large disks. The targets we can produce are maximum 35 mm in diameter and 4 mm thickness with relative density 90% or higher. Currently NORECS offers PLD targets made from 8YSZ and BZY (suitable for solid electrolyte applications and electrical measurements in oxidizing and reducing atmospheres), TiO2 (various qualities, incl. P25) (suitable as photocatalyst or for conductivity studies), and pure and doped ternary oxides such as acceptor-doped LaMO3 perovskites. Send us your specified requirements and applications and we will consider and quote it.

HumistatHumistatHumiStat mixer is small footprint laboratory gas mixer with large dynamic mixing range and humidification of gas or gas mixture. This mixer is suitable for low-flow laboratory use such as material science and button fuel cell research. Where large dynamic dilution range, accuracy, and automated step-programs are important. Accompanying software is simple and guides the user step-by-step through the mixture design, and describes the mixture in all typical units.

PEM sample holderPEM sample holderThe newly designed PEM sample holder is a small, compact unit for 4-electrode conductivity measurements of self-standing polymer film slabs (e.g. PEM). The sample holder is designed for and will fit any ProboStat™ unit. Temperature range from RT to ›200°C. A heated ProboStat™ base unit allows high steam contents if desired. In combination with the HumiStat tailor-made gas mixer and humidifier, this forms a high throughput measurement system for PEM conductivity at high temperatures and controlled partial pressures of water vapour.
Together, the HumiStat and the heated ProboStat™ base unit with sample holder for small PEM slabs, offers a simple and price-economic alternative to larger PEM characterization systems on the market.
A standard potentiostat with impedance spectrometer (frequency response analyzer, FRA) will be suitable for most samples and measurements.

Omega measurement and control softwareOmega measurement and control softwareOmega software is flexible measurement software for voltage, current, resistance, impedance, temperature or gas flow related measurements. It can measure but also control the instruments; ramp furnaces, manage gas mixing and apply currents. Experiments can be automated and actions, for example impedance sweeps, can automatically trigger at set conditions such as temperature or conductivity equilibrium.
